Laird's fish "Blue" bites the dust

  2. Blue and Joe, Laird's two fish, have died since Lucy was born. Does anyone know the average lifespan of a beta? Ours are lasting about 1 1/2 years.

  3. This was completely useless information to me until just now...A betta usually lives 3-5 years as long as it has a large enough environment (about 2-3 gallons) and the water stays clean and around 78 degrees. Most people think that bettas can live in a tiny amount of water with a tiny amount of oxygen, but that's not the case. (we used to have fish)

  4. Great pictures of the kids - sorry about the fish. I'm fearing the day is fast approaching when John loses his. It's been 2 years...

  5. I love the picture of Laird with the empty fish bowl - oh, that's so sad.

  6. Hey Pete!
We'd love to have you guys (I mean y'all) back up to Flower Mound for a visit sometime soon. You might want to wait for the chaos of Baby Arrival to die down, though.

A friend of mine, Kim Meyers, who was in my ward my sophomore year at BYU knows you but I have no idea how to connect w/ her again. Ideas?

  7. Hi, Pete. This is your cousin, Craig. We are also interested in getting in contact with Ben and Kim (Meyers) Seal. Do you know if they have a blog?

  8. Kim Meyer is me, Pete. I've got this one covered.

  9. PS, Lucy looks strikingly beautiful. My favorite feature is her eyebrows.
