James is now six months old. It is already hard to imagine life without him. Although I don't consider myself a "baby" person, he is a gem. (Let's be honest, I do much better from about age two on up). Sweet, peaceable, thumb-loving, full of smiles. He now, finally, has taken to rice cereal, and also loves to chew on raw vegetables (cucumber, jicama, carrots). James has become proficient with his rolling in both directions, after a few weeks of struggling to sleep well after accidentally rolling! He just learned to say "Ma-Ma" and knows he will get my attention by saying it. He cannot sit quite yet, or crawl. But he sure loves Peek-a-boo! James is still the center of attention, and receives more abrazos y besos every day than the rest of us combined.

Oh he is cute, and sounds like a genius, too. With his cheeks, it's no wonder he gets kisses enough for everyone.
ReplyDeleteHe is cute.
ReplyDeleteI have a great new visiting teacher, Stephani S. who moved from N. Houston; we figured out that we both--happily--know you!
So so cute. Looks just like his Dad! Aren't 4th babies the best?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you are doing well - I love your updates. I thought of you (and missed you) when we were in San Diego. . .
Has it been 6 months already? It seems like last month that he was blessed! James is certainly keeping up the Broadbent tradition of adorable grandchildren!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of James is delicious! Such a handsome little boy who is obviously bringing you much joy!
